Or talk to people who may actually understand the situation/figure it out for myself?Should I seek relationship advice from anonymous people on the Internet?
LOL!
Oh, the irony.
On the surface, it may seem that random questions posed to anonymous people may garner some faux answers, and oftentimes the wannabe comedians of the world provide exactly that. However, there is an innate objectivity when people can answer such questions untethered by any history or knowledge of the questioner. They can look at the question posed stripped of any acoutrements of personality. Even the comedian wannabees can provide insight when their responses illustrate some of the absurdities or quirks. That said, I would never suggest the use of Yahoo Answers as an exclusive resource for anything.Should I seek relationship advice from anonymous people on the Internet?
I think some answers can be useful, especially is the person has experienced the same thing...
Problem is when you ask strangers on the internet they can't give an accurate answer, they don't know you or the other person, they can't read minds, they don't know how you act together, there is no way they can give you an precise answer because they just know what you tell them.
However, depending on the question, they might help you come up with explanations you had not otherwise thought of and generally help get your mind going so you can figure things out for yourself.
It would probably be a much better and safer idea to talk about it with one of your best friends or your sister if you have one and are close to her. It is probably not the best idea to be putting your personal love life on the internet for someone to read. Even if they don't know you, it would be a lot less risky to just talk with one of your bff's!!
Well from some of the dodgy answers to relationship questions I've seen here (especially from bitter people with their own emotional baggage), I'd probably advice to never use the internet again! LOL
But really, if you are mature enough to sort through the idiots, sometimes it can be helpful to get ideas and suggestions at least.
You should listen to all advice but remember that no one knows all about your relationship except for you and the other person in the relationship. So listen to advice but don't base your decisions off a specific piece. Asses the situation and decide for yourself.
it helps to ask people on the outside of a situation to sometimes see it clearer than either yourself or your friends can because we dont know you, there are some very insightful people all over the world on here that maybe one day could give you some sound impartial advice,so yes,do ask us.
well i wouldn't let it be your only advice you receive. It can help but we can only give you advice on the info you give us, so if you leave little details out we may not be able to give the best advice.
Consider all advice suspect... especially from the internet. Doesn't mean you can't get some good points to ponder, but don't blame me or anyone else if you took bad advice and it backfired. Experience should be your best teacher.
Sure you don't know us, but we have experience just like the people you talk to face to face and we don't know you so we can be blunt.
all of them! it's good to see different points of view and opinions to help you make your decision. it may give you a different perspective on things.
If you post details - you can get opinions. You don't have to follow the advice, but you can see how others view your situation.
strangers can ';understand'; the situation w/o knowing you and it is the best way to get unbiased opinions, here is the best place for this!
lol isn't that what you're doing now? sorry, had to point it out. Yes, if you think it will help, but make sure you find a good place to ask first and probably not this one if it's personal
talk to your friends and figure it out for yourself, but this question is kinda seeking relationship advice over the internet :L lol.
i would do ask people on the internet because then you have people that have been through it and good advice and ask family or close people.
Yes you should. You should seek relationship advice from anonymous people on the internet.
Anon internet people will give you their honest answer because they do not know you and have no ties.Try both!
Yes, if youre friends cant give you good answers, trust people who don鈥檛 know you and who are not biased!
Maybe a little bit of both.
Always good to have insight from other people's point of view...
That's your risk.
Just me. I am very blunt.
Hmmm.. the first one.
yes
isnt that why your here?
