I was involved in an automobile accident 3 wks ago. Upon inspection it was discovered the damage incurred was not only due to the accident but from negligent maintentance. This puzzled me because I had my car serviced in February @ a discount oil/lube place. Apparentrly I paid for work that waws never done %26amp; in result my car has sustained over an estimated $2500 in repairs. I want to seek legal counsel.What type of lawyer should I seek advice from?
Get a regular plaintiff's personal injury attorney. S/he'll be able to handle the whole. Be careful who you choose though.





The big personal injury mills will agree to handle it, but you won't have an attorney handling your case, and the secretary or paralegal they assign it to will not know what to do about anything but the car accident part. It's possible your insurance agency will set you up with an attorney. You should ask them what they think before you retain counsel and begin incurring fees.
