I have a problem with my prom dress. i seek advice?

would it be rude to the store's owner if i do this action. but i'm being selfish and want another better dressI have a problem with my prom dress. i seek advice?
no it would not be rude. say that the dress didnt feel right when you wore it and you ask to exchange it and everything will be better!I have a problem with my prom dress. i seek advice?
Most stores will not take back a dress once it has left the store. The only way I think they will let you do anything would be to possibly bring your prom ticket with you so they can see that your prom has not passed (you haven't worn the dress and are trying to take it back). Even still, they probably will only let you do an exchange and give you a credit for the difference. If that is the situation, agree to do so and that will assure them that because you have a credit you will be back to do business with them next time you need formal wear. You may actually be able to go with a friend afterwards and they can use the credit and give you the cash equivalent. Make sure you go back with your mom and/or sister so you don't have this problem with the next dress.
Read the back of the receipt. It should state the store's return policy. Usually, if the tags are still attached, they will accept a return (or at least store credit). More importantly though...if you like the dress, who cares what others think?
hey-

i think it would be best if you dont really LOVE it then you should return it. Just check with the people and keep shopping! you can always post a picture of it on here to show us and we can give an opinion! hope that helps!

It's not rude at all. Especially if you plan on exchanging it for another dress at that same store. Don't even worry about it (:
Check your receipt normally they write the policy on exchange.
It's worth a shot to ask if they will give you a store credit so you can choose another dress. Just be polite.
It depends on the store. But I think you should get more opinions. post a pic of u wearing the dress on here and we can tell u what we think.
im sure they'd exchange the dress for another. And it isnt rude hun, people do it all the time.
check the company policy, most stores will exchange them
yes, they should let you exchange it. Thier profit is the same in both dresses. wear what makes you happy.
depends which shop, some shops let you change or get store credit but it really depends on which shop it is..
yeah why not it is your prom night that special day get what you want
wasnt prom like a month ago
Just tell them it didn't fit right.. or something.. and then ask to exchange it :)
if the store allows it, then do it.
i see
