i would really seek both. . . but mostly advice. u can never get enough
i much prefer advice because i can put it to good use...empathy just makes me feel like i'm dragging other people into my problems.
Depending on the situation it suppose it will be empathy

advice most of the time, but sometimes people just dont know what sort of advice to give u, so they give u any advice out of emphathy. So it depends on the situation and the person ur talking to
